Next stop is Ellie's for a loaf (it was Fran's when the photo was taken, but has since changed management - it is now looked after by Mel, who used to manage Fell House). Let's ask them to make up our sandwiches for lunch, as we might go for a walk. No time now to stop for a cuppa or bun at the small tea shop inside, as the morning is getting on and some of Sedbergh's shops close for lunch.
